I’m heading to Dallas tomorrow to celebrate my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary with them! Congrats Mom & Dad…love you guys more than you could ever know! But before I head out I HAD to post these images from Jessica’s session a couple of weeks ago. Jessica is an artist currently living in Switzerland. Check out her website HERE! She was in the states visiting family and decided to head to Amarillo for a super rad session with me. Jessica lived in Amarillo until she was 5 years old so she wanted to do something that just really captured her memories of Amarillo. Now Amarillo has changed A LOT since Jessica was little but there are still places in our small little corner of the world that will forever embody all that is Amarillo to Jessica. So we headed to The Big Texan & Cadillac Ranch among other places. My favorite part of this session was Jessica’s wardrobe. Her mother is a costume designer and Jessica had a couple of absolutely fabulous dresses that her mother made and wore back in the day. She also brought some vintage hats and a vintage coat of her Grandmother’s…and I can not forget her Dad’s old cowboy boots. I mean how much more fabulous can you get?! So here are my favorites from Jessica’s session (yes, I have A LOT of favorites!).

Oh my gosh…I almost forgot about the puppy we encountered in a field in the middle of nowhere! He was the cutest thing ever. We were both a little heartbroken to leave him there but neither one of us were prepared to take him with us. We both called several people so that someone would come pick him up for us but didn’t have any luck. I sure hope he made it home…poor thing.
