I first met Lydia back in 2006…I shot some photos of she and a girl I know (Dayly!) in their prom dresses just for fun. Then I got to shoot Lydia’s senior photos back in 2008 when she was a blond.
I’d say she’s going to be a lifelong client! Yay!! Davis and Lydia are getting married in March and I am so excited to be their photographer on the big day. Lydia is amazing! She is totally making this wedding her own…literally. She’s even designing/making her own wedding dress! I cannot wait to see what she does with their wedding. Most couples come to me with very little ideas of what they want their engagement session to look like. So we just go out and have fun finding locations or using some of my favorites. Well, Davis & Lydia knew EXACTLY what they wanted. I had a blast going to their favorite spots, including Cowboy Gelato on 6th Street and their very special spot at the park. We seriously tore up Amarillo on this shoot..I lost count at some point or another as to how many locations and wardrobe changes we racked up. So fun! Well, enough talk. Here are some of the highlights from their session. Enjoy!
First stop…Cowboy Gelato on 6th Street!

Just following the yummy late afternoon light!

This looks like a fairytale to me. Love it!

Definitely one of my favorites from their shoot…

Balloons don’t “float” upright in Amarillo. Everything blows sideways…even the trees.

Another favorite…

Just a quick stop to the laundromat. I heart the photo to the left!
