2010 Inspired | Amarillo Texas Wedding Photographer

Wow, it has been a while since my last post! I pray you all had a wonderfully blessed Christmas and a great holiday season. I spent some much needed time with my family sans work…it’s good to take a few days for myself once in a while. I am still editing like crazy and will have some new photos for you to feast your eyes on soon. Today I am just taking some time to get inspired and geared up for this new year. I find inspiration in a lot of things but especially music & books. Fashion and wedding magazines, as well as wedding blogs are a great outlet for me too! As a wedding photographer I try to stay up with all the current wedding trends, fashions, etc. Wedding blogs are so great for this! What inspires you?? I would love to hear your input. Here are some of the things I’m currently drawing inspiration from. And who knows, I may make this a regular thing…I know we could all use a little inspiration (especially on a Monday!). P.S. I heart Anthropologie! Their store, clothes, catalog…everything about this place inspires me. The photography in their catalog is pure bliss!

I could spend (and sometimes do spend) hours looking through different wedding blogs. I encourage my brides to make their wedding nothing less than everything they have dreamed their wedding would be and to make it their own. Too many times I see brides do the same old tired thing. Your wedding should reflect who you are and what inspires you. Whether it’s a bird cage veil, tea length dress, purple shoes, or something else out of the norm (around here anyway…haha), just make sure it is YOU and not your mom, friend, or someone else.
