Wow…it was one of THOSE weekends! I was scheduled to go to Dallas for a couple of sessions but at about 1am on the morning we were meant to head out Ella started throwing up. Now my daughter rarely ever gets sick and it’s usually timed a little better, haha. I’m halfway grateful that it decided to rain all day yesterday in Dallas and that my sessions ended up needing to be rescheduled anyway. Hopefully the weather and Ella’s immune system both cooperate this weekend.
I did at least get to make my trip to Lubbock to shoot a maternity session for some of my favorite family clients ever. I can’t wait to share some of those images with you…Leah is one hot pregnant chick! I was also able to get even more caught up! I think I can officially say that I am caught up from all the craziness that was Christmas. Here are a couple of sessions that I did for Dustin & Colleen’s families while they were all together for the holidays. Both days that we shot these were crazy cold. Colleen’s family braved the cold to shoot outside but because there’s a new little one in Dustin’s family we opted for indoors. We ended up shooting around the Hillside Christian Church campus and I think it turned out pretty great…just nice clean classic portraits. The church has some great natural light and it was like a ghost town around there so we had the place all to ourselves! Here are a handful of faves from each session. I’ll try to stay up with blogging a little better now that I’m caught up on editing.
