Anyone and everyone who knows me knows that I am busy ALL THE TIME! I am completely overworked and I have no one to blame for this but myself. So I’m taking some great advice from a lovely friend and fellow photographer. And that is to raise my prices. It’s pretty sad when even my clients are telling me I’m too cheap…lol! I’d like to hand down this awesome piece of advice to all of you other photographers (and blog stalkers!). Here’s the deal…(as far as weddings go) if you are booking more than 70% of the couples you meet with you need to raise your prices. Soooo, come April 1st you will see a change in pricing on my website. This will apply to past clients, future clients, and only excludes you if you already have a session or wedding booked with me or if you are a baby’s first year client and have already started your year with me. If hearing that my prices are going to increase scares you at all then you have exactly 2 weeks to book your session or event with me at the current pricing. Everything that comes in on or after April 1st will be under the new pricing. Thanks for your understanding!!

I thought I’d give you a little look at the awesome albums I offer. These are the best albums around (in my opinion)! They are available in leather or linen. You can see color options (amazing colors!!), size options, and pricing here. Albums aren’t just for weddings either! I have been working on restructuring pricing for 2010. I may add/change some more stuff here & there but most everything is finished. Nothing has really changed…I mainly just added some new things. New print/product prices can be seen in the store soon (still working on some of that). 2010 session and wedding pricing is up now as well as a new splash page on my website. Thoughts?

Christmas

Thanksgiving has passed, the Christmas tree and other decorations have gone up, and it is snowing here in Amarillo. This can only mean one thing…Christmas is fast approaching! How many of you out there have finished shopping for all the people on your list? I’m very close…will probably finish up this week. Yay!! Well, I thought this would be a great time to tell you about ordering deadlines here at the studio. For regular shipping (USPS Priority mail) you must have your order placed no later than December 15th. For expedited shipping (FedEx), Christmas orders must be placed by December 20th. If you’re placing a large order…the earlier the better! This only pertains to print orders. The cut off for books (for Christmas delivery) has already passed.

In the spirit of giving I thought I would give all of my clients a little Christmas treat. If you place a print order from now until December 20th you may use the following coupon at check-out to receive 25% off your entire order! Here is the code: MERRY09. You must spend $50 or more but there is no limit to how many times this coupon may be used between now and the 20th.
